PRIVACY POLICY

Your workout data should stay yours.

FitUp is designed without mandatory accounts, advertising profiles, or the sale of personal information. This policy explains the current app, website, and the controls available to you.

FitUp 1.2 is available on the App Store. This policy describes its device-local Daily Flow preferences, favorites, and finished-session history, along with purchases and support. FitUp does not require an account, and its App Store privacy label states that data is not collected from the app.

1. Who this policy covers

This Privacy Policy covers the FitUp iPhone app and the website at appfitup.com. FitUp is intended for adults.

2. No FitUp account required

You do not need to create a FitUp account, provide a name, or give FitUp an email address to use the core app. This means there is no FitUp account profile for us to maintain or recover.

3. Information stored on your device

FitUp stores your appearance preference and the date of your last free workout start locally on your device. Current workout progress is held while the session is open. FitUp does not provide account-based session recovery or HealthKit integration.

In version 1.2, FitUp also stores Daily Flow preferences (time, difficulty, low-impact, and standing-only choices), favorite workout identifiers, and up to 2,000 finished session records on your device. Records include the workout, session identifier, finish date, completed and skipped exercise-step counts, and a source label where applicable. Movement Passport uses these records to show workout exploration and weekly activity, not a fitness assessment. Sessions closed before the finish screen are not recorded.

FitUp does not upload this activity to a FitUp account or provide cross-device history sync. Apple device backups may include local app data depending on your settings.

FitUp does not use this device-local workout information to build an advertising profile, and we do not sell it.

4. App Store purchases

Apple processes subscription purchases and payment details. FitUp receives transaction or entitlement information needed to unlock access, restore purchases, prevent abuse, and provide support. FitUp does not receive your full payment-card number from Apple.

5. Support messages

If you email support@appfitup.com, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address, device details, and problem description. We use it to respond, troubleshoot, protect FitUp, and keep necessary support records. Please do not send sensitive health information.

6. Website operations

We do not intentionally use advertising trackers on this website. Our hosting and security providers may process routine technical information—such as IP address, browser type, request time, and requested page—to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and diagnose reliability issues. We may retain those operational records only as reasonably needed for those purposes and provider requirements.

The website saves your selected color theme in your browser's local storage. You can remove this preference by clearing this site's browser data. It is separate from your in-app appearance preference.

7. Sharing and sale

FitUp does not sell personal information. Information may be processed by Apple when you use Apple services, by service providers supporting site delivery or customer support, when needed to protect users and FitUp, or when legally required. Providers may process information only for the service they supply, subject to their own terms and our applicable agreements.

8. Your controls and deletion

  • In version 1.2, remove individual favorites with the workout heart, or choose Clear history and favorites in Movement Passport and confirm Clear saved activity. This keeps Flow and appearance preferences and does not reset the daily free-workout allowance.
  • Change your app appearance in Settings or clear website preferences through your browser's site-data controls.
  • Delete the app to remove its device-local app container, subject to Apple backup or sync behavior.
  • Manage purchases and subscriptions through your Apple account.

Because FitUp does not require an account, we generally cannot identify or remotely delete information held only on your device. For a support-message deletion request, email support@appfitup.com from the address used to contact us. We may retain limited records where reasonably necessary for security, legal, or recordkeeping purposes.

9. Security and retention

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information and service. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Device-local preferences and daily access data remain until they are updated, you delete the app, or Apple backup behavior changes them. Support and operational records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for their stated purposes.

Version 1.2 retains at most the latest 2,000 finished session records; older records are removed as new ones are saved. Favorites remain until removed or activity is cleared. Clearing activity is confirmed in the app and does not cancel an Apple subscription.

10. Adults only

FitUp is intended for adults and is not directed to children. If you believe a child has sent personal information to FitUp support, contact us so we can review the request.

11. Updates and contact

We may update this policy as the app and legal requirements evolve. We will post the revised date here and provide additional notice when appropriate. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to support@appfitup.com.
