Your workout data should stay yours.

FitUp is designed without mandatory accounts, advertising profiles, or the sale of personal information. This policy explains the planned launch boundaries and the controls available to you.

FitUp is waiting for App Review. Apple integrations described below apply only when you use them and only after they are included in the released app. We will confirm this policy against the final StoreKit, Health, and iCloud build before release.

1. Who this policy covers

This Privacy Policy covers the FitUp iPhone and Apple Watch apps and the website at appfitup.com. FitUp is intended for adults.

2. No FitUp account required

You do not need to create a FitUp account, provide a name, or give FitUp an email address to use the core app. This means there is no FitUp account profile for us to maintain or recover.

3. Information stored on your device

The app is designed to store workout history, active-session state, routine selections, app preferences, and feedback locally on your device. This information supports features such as progress, session recovery, appearance, cue preferences, and personalized workout choices.

FitUp does not use this device-local workout information to build an advertising profile, and we do not sell it.

4. Optional Apple services

Health data

If Health integration ships and you choose to enable it, FitUp will request only the Apple Health permissions shown to you for relevant workout or activity features. Health access is optional, can be changed in Apple Settings or the Health app, and is not used for advertising or sold. FitUp will not access Health data without your permission.

iCloud

If iCloud sync ships and you enable or use it, Apple may store and sync eligible FitUp data through the iCloud account on your devices. Apple operates that service under its own terms and privacy policy.

StoreKit and App Store purchases

If subscriptions ship, Apple will process purchases and payment details. FitUp may receive transaction or entitlement information needed to unlock access, restore purchases, prevent abuse, and provide support. FitUp does not receive your full payment-card number from Apple.

5. Support messages

If you email support@appfitup.com, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address, device details, and problem description. We use it to respond, troubleshoot, protect FitUp, and keep necessary support records. Please do not send sensitive health information.

6. Website operations

We do not intentionally use advertising trackers on this website. Our hosting and security providers may process routine technical information—such as IP address, browser type, request time, and requested page—to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and diagnose reliability issues. We may retain those operational records only as reasonably needed for those purposes and provider requirements.

7. Sharing and sale

FitUp does not sell personal information. Information may be processed by Apple when you use Apple services, by service providers supporting site delivery or customer support, when needed to protect users and FitUp, or when legally required. Providers may process information only for the service they supply, subject to their own terms and our applicable agreements.

8. Your controls and deletion

  • Change FitUp permissions in Apple Settings and the Health app.
  • Turn optional iCloud features off if they are offered.
  • Use in-app history or data controls that are present in the released version.
  • Delete the app to remove its device-local app container, subject to Apple backup or sync behavior.
  • Manage purchases and subscriptions through your Apple account.

Because FitUp does not require an account, we generally cannot identify or remotely delete information held only on your device. For a support-message deletion request, email support@appfitup.com from the address used to contact us. We may retain limited records where reasonably necessary for security, legal, or recordkeeping purposes.

9. Security and retention

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information and service. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Device-local information remains until you use available deletion controls, delete the app, or Apple backup and sync behavior changes it. Support and operational records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for their stated purposes.

10. Adults only

FitUp is intended for adults and is not directed to children. If you believe a child has sent personal information to FitUp support, contact us so we can review the request.

11. Updates and contact

We may update this policy as the app and legal requirements evolve. We will post the revised date here and provide additional notice when appropriate. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to support@appfitup.com.
