ACCESSIBILITY AT FITUP

Fitness that adapts to you.

FitUp is designed to make bodyweight workouts easier to understand, navigate, and follow across iPhone and Apple Watch. Accessibility is part of the core experience—not a FitUp Pro-only feature.

OUR COMMITMENTS

Clear guidance, more ways to use it.

These are the accessibility behaviors FitUp is being built and reviewed around for launch.

VoiceOver labels

Important controls, workout details, timer states, and progress are designed with clear spoken labels and logical reading order for VoiceOver.

Dynamic Type

Core instructions, controls, and workout information are designed to scale and reflow with larger text settings instead of being clipped or hidden.

Reduce Motion

When Reduce Motion is enabled, FitUp replaces prominent movement with calmer transitions while keeping workout state and timing understandable.

Reduce Transparency

FitUp is designed to use more solid surfaces when reduced transparency is requested, helping content remain distinct from its background.

Contrast and clear state

Text, controls, focus, and status treatments are designed for strong contrast, and important workout state is not communicated by color alone.

Exercise guidance fallbacks

Animated exercise guidance is paired with readable names, timing, cues, and static pose states so essential instructions do not depend on animation alone.

DURING A WORKOUT

The instruction stays available.

Exercise names, remaining time or repetitions, and the next action are designed to remain available as text and accessible labels. When animation is reduced or unavailable, FitUp uses static exercise poses and timing states so the essential cue is preserved.

On Apple Watch, key information is designed for short, glanceable interactions. Exact behavior can vary by device, watch size, Apple accessibility settings, and the features included in the released build.

ACCESSIBILITY SUPPORT

Tell us what would help.

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, email us with your device, software version, accessibility setting, and the screen or workout where it happened. You do not need a FitUp account.
